BACKGROUND

The United Nations launched a grand program called the SDGs, which aims to lay the foundations for a new order in economic, social, political and cultural, environmental and dignified ways of life. The implementation of the SDG program is the key to success in different countries of the world. The emergence of Covid-19 from the beginning of 2019 to the end of 2022 will certainly affect the achievement of the goals of sustainable development. The goal is that by 2030 the goals or targets set by each country should be properly met, but the Covid-19 pandemic, which has affected almost all countries in the world, has also hindered the achievement of sustainable development goals in various countries. A key principle of the Sus tainable Development Goals is that no one is left behind. This seminar and conference will discuss readiness for the industrial revolution 5.0, emphasizing technological aspects (artificial intelligence, IoT and robotics). Will the development of technology in the era of the 5.0 industrial revolution accelerate the achievement of the goals of sustainable development? Or what is the impact of the technological developments of the 5.0 industrial revolution era on the achievement of sustainability goals or programs. Cooperation between developed countries and developing countries or between developing countries and poor countries has contributed to accelerating the achievement of sustainable development goals. In addition, the commitment, participation and empowerment of various levels of society and campuses has accelerated the achievement of sustainable development goals in each country.

The development of information and communication technology massively, systematically and radically affected the lives of all people. Currently, all countries are racing to develop technical devices (both hardware and software) that are increasingly sophisticated and easy to use with MFPs. Technological development has a positive effect on the one hand and a negative effect on the other. Big data and the ease of sharing information on the one hand bring convenience, but create risks for the decision-making process. Easily transferable information requires data analysis skills to make decisions. People keep innovating to have a better life by creating inventions that can produce something effective and efficient. The SDGs are a program of 17 goals and 169 targets expected to be achieved by 2030. This program is designed to meet the requirements. In overcoming poverty, social inequality and climate change in the world.

The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are a common agreement between the world's nations that transforms the guiding goals of peace, non-violence, non discrimination, participation, open governance and multi-stakeholder partnerships. Each country has its own method or a method adapted to the characteristics of the developing society and culture to achieve the goals of sustainable development. One of the most important things to accelerate the achievement of sustainable development goals is to empower the human resources of the community. This influence must be adapted to the conditions of the cultural characteristics of the community. Empowerment is a process where human resources can be enabled by changing knowledge, skills and experiences. Industrial revolution 5.0 has several advantages and negative effects. In order to reduce the negative effects and optimize the benefits of the industrial revolution 5.0, world scientists, led by Japanese scientists, propose the concept of society 5.0. Society 5.0 is a per son who can solve various challenges and social problems by utilizing various technology-oriented innovations born in the era of Industrial Revolution 5.0.

In the era of Society 5.0, many challenges and changes must be made, especially in the field of education, because the quality of human resources must be improved. Improving the quality of human resources is a priority in the learning and character building of college students, and students must be independent in learning, and teachers are used as facilitators. Higher education has a role to play in producing qualified graduates who can face society 5.0. Therefore, learning must have three components, namely the ability to solve a complex problem, think critically and be creative. Critical thinking is an important part of the three parts, the ability to think critically is the only skill that cannot be replaced by robots. Critical thinkers can improve flexible intellectual skills, the ability to analyze information and integrate different sources of information to solve problems. In the preparation of major human resources , students must possess six basic literacies, namely numeracy, science literacy, information literacy, financial literacy, cultural literacy and civic literacy. In addition to literacy, other important skills are critical thinking, reasoning, creativity, communication, collaboration and problem solving. And most importantly, behaviors (characters) reflect the profile of Universitas Bhayangkara Jakarta Raya students, such as curiosity, initiative, determination, adaptability, leadership, social and cultural concerns. Although there are many challenges in the era of Society 5.0, Society 5.0 is a solution that empowers people to use technology in the era of digital transformation. Later, this concept is able to facilitate various human activities in different fields.
