URGENSI PENCEGAHAN PERUNDUNGAN DUNIA MAYA (CYBERBULLYING) TERHADAP PELAJAR

Abstract

Cyberbullying has become a worrying phenomenon in
the last decade, especially among students. Cyberbullying is a
new form of bullying that involves the use of electronic media.
Difference other forms of bullying, cyberbullying reaches a much
wider audiences at great speed, transcending physical and
personal boundaries of time and space. The impact of
cyberbullying cases is more devastating than traditional
bullying, because it leaves digital records such as photos, videos,
and writings so that the memory and shame for the victim will
continue as long as the digital footprint is accessed by people.
Therefore, the importance of prevention efforts in order to avoid
and not fall into the dangers and impacts of cyberbullying and
the legal aspects that govern it. Activities carried out among
students in the form of counseling through webinars are
preventive measures that need to be carried out by students in
order to avoid the dangers and impacts of cyberbullying as well
as legal aspects that regulate if cyberbullying occurs. The
purpose of this activity is to increase knowledge and
understanding of students of SMK Industri Nasional 1, Setu
Bekasi , in order to avoid cyberbullying, both as perpetrators and
victims.
