PEMBERDAYAAN WARGA BINAAN DALAM UPAYA PENCEGAHAN KEKERASAN DALAM RUMAH TANGGA

Abstract

The Understanding in the prevention of Domestic
Violence can not only be done in the community in general, but
also for inmates/convicts who are serving sentences in
Correctional Institutions. Legal counseling in the form of
empowering inmates is intended so that when they are free and
reunited with their families and communities, they can play a
significant role in preventing domestic violence. In counseling
in the form of empowering inmates, the participants, in this case
the inmates/inmates who previously did not fully know about
domestic violence, understood it more and more so that it is
expected to be a provision in welcoming a new life when they
reunite with their families. This activity was carried out using an
online method via zoom where the participants, namely
inmates/prisoners were in the Pondok Bambu Rutan while the
speakers were lecturers from Bhayangkara University who were
on campus.
