The Teaching Campus is one of the MBKM programs
that can provide opportunities for students to innovate, be
creative, and develop independence in seeking and finding
knowledge during hands-on practice. The condition of literacy
and numeracy that is still low in several schools requires a
program that has been initiated by the Ministry of Education and
Culture through the Teaching Campus Program. Through the
Teaching Campus program it is hoped that it can provide
solutions to the challenges that are being faced. The results of
this program are to foster a sense of empathy for students
regarding educational issues in the surrounding environment,
providing opportunities for students to acquire knowledge that
has not been taught in lectures. One of them is being able to adapt
in a new environment, knowing the character of each student,
communicating with teachers, students and school members.
Improving literacy and numeracy in placement schools, both
elementary/junior high schools, to produce quality human
resources in the education sector. Increasing technology
adaptation for students and teachers to be able to adjust to
technological developments that are developing very rapidly.
