Bantuan Hukum Sebagai Hak Warga Negara Yang Dijamin Negara Berdasar Undang-Undang

Abstract

The understanding of obtaining legal aid is not yet
fully understood by citizens in general, including inmates as
prisoners who are currently undergoing a case examination
process as subjects who are in conflict with the law. This legal
education aims to ensure that inmates, especially detainees on
trial, can understand the function of legal aid and their rights to
obtain legal aid. In this counseling, the inmates are participants,
in this case the inmates/inmates who previously did not fully
understand their function and rights to legal aid, can understand
it clearly. It is hoped that participants will immediately exercise
their right to obtain legal assistance when facing investigations
into criminal cases against each of them. This activity was
carried out using the face-to-face offline method at the Pondok
Bambu Detention Center. The resource person is a lecturer from
Bhayangkara University, Greater Jakarta, conducting outreach
by visiting the PondokBambu Detention Center.
