Pembuatan Karbol Sereh untuk Pengembangan Wirausaha Karang Taruna Garuda 01 di Pondok Ungu Permai Sektor V Babelan Bekasi Utara

Abstract

Disinfectan cleaner (karbol) is one of cleaning fluids that be needed in the household which functions to eliminate odors, and to kill germs and microorganisms that stick to the surface of an object. Karbol is widely used as a cleaner for bathrooms, floors and other parts of the house that smell bad. Lemongrass is becoming a trend in the fragrance variants used in the Karbol. This is because lemongrass has a calming smell and is widely used as aromatherapy, lemongrass also has a function as an insect repellent. The main ingredients for making Karbol are surfactants which function as foam formers so that they can clean dirt and antimicrobials that function to kill bacteria and fungi on the surface. The purpose of this community service activity is to provide knowledge to youth groups in terms of making lemongrass karbol to develop youth entrepreneurs at Ponduk Ungu Permai Sector V, Babelan, North Bekasi. The methods used in this community service activity are presentation, discussion, knowledge sharing, and the practice of making lemongrass carbolic acid. The result of this community service is in the form of a finished product of lemongrass carbolic acid in accordance with the explanation given.
