Gerak Niktinasi Tumbuhan Putri Malu terhadap Tanaman itu Sendiri

Abstract

Mimosa pudica or commonly called the shy princess plant is a plant that is easy to find in several home or school yards. This plant is a wild plant that can grow freely without special care. This research was conducted on the Bhayangkara University campus, Jakarta Raya, precisely on the soccer field. This research was conducted on December 24 2022 at 14.00 WIB – 17.00 WIB. The research was carried out using a random system, where the touching of the three Maluku plants was carried out alternately and not simultaneously to minimize errors in the time data. After carrying out experiments, it can be concluded that plants can move due to the influence of the surrounding environment, namely from light touch and sunlight. Plant movements cannot be observed without tools.
