PEER-REVIEW PROCESS

Jurnal Hukum Sasana will publish the only paper strictly following author guidelines, journal template, Focus and Scope. The submitted articles must fulfill scientific merit or novelty appropriate to the focus and scope of this journal. All articles submitted to this journal should be written in Bahasa or English. Authors for whom English is not their native language are encouraged to have their paper checked before submission for grammar and clarity. The work must not have been published or submitted for publication elsewhere. 

Those papers are read by editorial members (upon the field of specialization) and will be screened by Managing Editor to meet the necessary criteria of Sasana Law Journal publication. The manuscript will be sent to the reviewers based on their field of specialization for contribution, originality, relevance, and presentation. Reviewers' comments are then sent to the corresponding author for necessary actions and responses.  The review process used in this journal is a double-blind review system. The Editor shall inform you of the results of the review as soon as possible, hopefully within sixty days. The submitted manuscript is first reviewed by an editor. It will be evaluated in the office, whether it is suitable for the Jurnal Hukum Sasana focus and scope or has a major methodological flaw and similarity score.

The editor will run a plagiarism check using Plagiarism Checker for the submitted articles before sending it to the reviewers. We do not process any plagiarised contents. If an article has over 20% of similarity based on the result of the check, we will send back the article to the author to be revised for the plagiarised contents. The journal is strongly carried out by using Mendeley as a Tool Reference Manager and Chicago Manual of Style 17th Edition (full note) as the style.  

The final decision of manuscript acceptance is solely made by Editor in Chief/Regional (Handling) Editor (together with Editorial Board if required) according to reviewers' critical comments. The final decision of the manuscript is solely based on the Editor's final review which considering peer-reviewers comments (but not solely by Reviewer). The revised article returned later than 25 days will be considered as new submissions. The revised article can be sent to the editorial through the Online Submission Interface. Reviewers will give their assessment on originality, clarity of presentation, contribution to the field/science, Jurnal Hukum Sasana  has four kinds of decisions:
  • Accepted, as it is
  • Accepted by Minor Revisions (let authors revised with stipulated time)
  • Accepted by Major Revisions (let authors revised with stipulated time)
  • Rejected (generally, on grounds of the outside of scope and aim, major technical description problems, lack of clarity of presentation)

Publication of accepted articles including assigning the article to the published issues will be made by Editor in Chief by considering the sequence of accepted date and geographical distribution of authors as well as a thematic issue. All articles published Open Access will be immediately and permanently free for everyone to read and download. We are continuously working with our author communities to select the best choice of license options, currently being defined for this journal as Creative Commons Attribution (CC-BY-NC).
