Post-Publication Discussion
Journal of Engineering Environtmental Energy and Science (JOE3S) recognizes that scientific communication does not end with the publication of an article.
Post-publication discussion provides an opportunity for researchers, academics, practitioners, and readers to exchange scientific perspectives, clarify research findings, identify potential limitations, and contribute to the continuous improvement of scientific knowledge.
JOE3S encourages constructive, evidence-based, and respectful academic discussion concerning articles published in the journal.

Readers and researchers may submit comments, questions, critiques, or scholarly responses concerning previously published articles.
Post-publication discussions may address:
- Methodological limitations or concerns.
- Interpretation of research results.
- Data accuracy and reproducibility.
- Theoretical or conceptual arguments.
- Scientific implications and practical applications.
- Suggestions for further research.
- Other relevant scientific issues concerning the published work.

Authors whose published articles are subject to post-publication comments or criticisms will be given an appropriate opportunity to respond.
Responses should address the scientific issues raised and provide clarification, additional evidence, or further explanation where necessary.

The Editor-in-Chief reserves the right to accept, request revision, or reject post-publication comments and responses based on their scholarly merit and relevance.
Handling Concerns About Published Research
When post-publication discussions identify potential errors, questionable research practices, or ethical concerns, the editorial team will assess the information and determine the appropriate action.
Depending on the findings, actions may include:
- Requesting clarification from the authors.
- Publishing an author's response.
- Issuing a correction notice.
- Publishing an Expression of Concern.
- Initiating an investigation into suspected research misconduct.
- Retracting the article when sufficient evidence establishes grounds for retraction.
All actions will be taken in accordance with the journal's publication ethics policies and applicable COPE guidance.
Editorial Independence and Transparency
Post-publication discussions will be handled independently and fairly, without inappropriate influence from authors, reviewers, institutions, or other interested parties.
The editorial team will ensure that scientific criticism is considered on its merits and that all parties are treated respectfully.
