Abstract

This program aims to provide counseling related to the prevention of the Corona virus to the community and local residents who often visit the BGP Cluster, Sumber Jaya Village, South Tambun, Bekasi Regency. Public awareness during the pandemic is very lacking with many people ignoring Covid-19. Thus, it is necessary to make efforts to increase public awareness by providing insight or counseling on how to handle and prevent the spread of the Corona Virus and prepare for endemic conditions. From the results of the interview, it can be seen that the public does not know much information about Covid-19. So the solution that will be carried out is to provide direct counseling to the community and actively carry out coaching in order to increase the readiness of residents in facing endemic conditions. With this program, its hoped that it will increased public awareness and understanding of Covid-19, create an optimization strategy to prevent and anticipate the spread of Covid-19, and create an information channel that can be used as a guide for the community. The stages that will be carried out include the stages of Observation & Focus Group Discussion. At this stage, a direct review is carried out to analyze the situation and condition of the partners regarding the need for coaching and determine the strategies that will be socialized so as to produce improvements to the healthy behavior of the community. The focus of counseling is on creating clean and healthy environmental conditions by reforesting green open land. The second is counseling about preparation for entering endemic conditions. The last stage is Evaluation. At this stage the implementation of activities is evaluated by the team and sees what obstacles and problems arise in the field and ensures the program can run smoothly as expected.
